The Navis Marine Unisex Sailing Set offers the highest quality, including both sailing trousers and a sailing jacket.
The sailing gear is made from an advanced 3-layer EXTREMEDRY membrane, which makes it waterproof, windproof, and breathable. All seams are taped, ensuring no leaks. This set is perfect for the discerning keelboat sailor, whether you’re cruising, racing, or in sailing school.
The Sailing Jacket
The sailing jacket features two chest pockets with waterproof zips. Additionally, there are two pockets on each side at the waist. One of these pockets is side-accessible and lined, providing warmth for your hands on cold days. The other is slightly larger and opens from the top with Velcro. There are also two smaller pockets on the sleeves.
The sailing jacket can be adjusted with elastic at the hem and Velcro on the sleeves. The sleeves also have an inner tight-fitting cuff that can be used if desired. When tightened, it effectively prevents water from entering through the sleeve.
The collar is relatively high, which is advantageous during the off-season or in severe weather. However, it can easily be folded down. The collar houses a hood that can be unfolded and adjusted with elastic for a snug fit. After use, the hood can be easily folded back into the collar, which secures with Velcro.
Navis Marine prioritizes maritime safety, which is why the yellow areas of the jacket are fluorescent for enhanced visibility. Additionally, there are reflective elements on the shoulders, chest, and wrists.
The Sailing Trousers
The sailing trousers are reinforced at the seat area and behind the knees. The height can be adjusted via wide elastic shoulder straps or secured at the waist. Velcro closures at the feet ensure a snug fit, whether you’re wearing shoes or sailing boots.
The sailing trousers are ergonomically designed, allowing for ease of movement without being overly bulky. The trousers extend relatively high on both the back and chest, offering additional protection and warmth for the upper body.
The zip features an internal "wind flap," preventing cold air and water from entering through the zip.
The trousers include two practical pockets with waterproof zips at the hips, one on each side, and a slightly larger pocket with Velcro closure on the right leg.
