The sailing jacket is made with the advanced 3-layer EXTREMEDRY membrane, which makes the sailing clothing both waterproof, windproof, and breathable. All seams are taped, so you won't find any leaks here.
Ideal for the quality-conscious keelboat sailor in Scandinavian waters, whether you're cruising, racing, or training.
On the sailing jacket, you will find two chest pockets with waterproof zippers. Additionally, there are two pockets on each side around the hip area. One can be accessed from the side and is lined, so it can keep hands warm even on cold days. The other can be opened with Velcro from the top and is slightly larger. There are also two smaller pockets on the sleeves.
The sailing jacket can be adjusted with an elastic drawcord at the hem and with Velcro on the sleeves. The sleeves also have an internal tight-fitting cuff that can be used if desired. If so, it simply needs to be tightened, and will then ensure that water does not sneak up through the sleeve.
The collar is initially quite high, which is an advantage in the shoulder seasons or in rough weather. However, the collar can easily be folded down. Inside the collar is a hood that can be folded out. The hood can be adjusted with elastic if you want a tight seal. After use, the hood is easily folded into the collar, which closes with Velcro.
Navis Marine does not compromise on maritime safety. Therefore, the yellow areas are fluorescent for extra visibility. Additionally, there are reflectors on the shoulders, chest, and wrists.
