The sailing jacket is made with the advanced 3-layer EXTREMEDRY membrane, which makes the sailing clothing waterproof, windproof, and breathable. All seams are taped, so there are no leaks.
Ideal for the quality-conscious keelboat sailor in Scandinavian waters, whether you are cruising, racing, or sailing for training.
The sailing jacket features two chest pockets with waterproof zippers. Additionally, there are two pockets on each side of the stomach around the hip area. One can be accessed from the side and is lined to keep hands warm even on cold days. The other opens with Velcro from the top and is slightly larger. There are also two smaller pockets on the sleeves.
The jacket is "insulated" with a thin mesh lining. This provides a little extra air between the body and the sailing jacket, which is beneficial for both insulation and breathability. The sailing jacket can be adjusted with elastic at the hem and Velcro on the sleeves. The sleeves also have an inner close-fitting cuff that can be used if desired. If so, it just needs to be tightened, and it will ensure that water does not sneak up through the sleeve.
The collar is initially relatively high, which is an advantage in the shoulder seasons or in rough weather. However, the collar can easily be folded down. Inside the collar is a hood that can be folded out. The hood can be adjusted with elastic if you want to close it tightly. When finished, the hood can easily be folded into the collar, which closes with Velcro.
Navis Marine does not compromise on maritime safety. Therefore, the yellow areas are fluorescent for extra visibility. In addition, there are reflectors on the shoulders, chest, and wrists.
